Low Frame Rate With New Gaming Laptop

Just two days ago, I bought an Asus Strix Hero ii. The first time I played League, I was able to run it smoothly at 130 plus frames. I then proceeded to download Star Wars Battlefront II, and it was able to run it at ultra graphics very smoothly!

However, when I went back to League, the thing started getting wonky. I was getting now 30-40 FPS 90% of the entire time, with drops that would go back to 130 FPS. I looked online and some people told me to go to the Nvidia control panel and make League run on max performance; didn't work.

Please help!
