League of legend issue after Microsoft update 11/1/2017

Alright so a day ago Microsoft sent out an update and so i applied it and i shut down my computer to apply the updates and when i turned it back on the next day I opened the league client and put in my username and password and tried to sign in it did not work it said above the username box. "an unexpected error has occurred while logging in please try again". if issue persists pleas go to the link that had the riot games support. Also when i tried to login again it just sat there authenticating and loading i let it sit for a while and realized it was not going to let me log in after 3 hours. I searched far and wide to see if i could fix the problem if there was a way to fix I could not find anything that would work. Please fix this don't have any one else endure this.

I had a similar issue; however, in my case, it says there's an issue with the folder and files. It has tried restoring an older version of League, but there's no folder available, but it says that restoration was successful and all I have to do is restart the client. After I do restart the client, it goes back through the same cycle. Other games are unaffected. Anyways, League is entirely off of my computer, and it seems like my only choice is to reinstall league since the update has completely erased all of my data. It did, however, keep one file and that file is just a replay of a game. Seems strange to me.
