Orianna's ball returns to her when the ally dies (Patch 7.6)

The patch notes read "If an ally dies while holding the Ball, it now drops in place rather than returning to Orianna", but I have been in two games where my ball immediately returned to me and I ulted myself because of that after the ally holding ball died. Is this still not fixed or what? Is her change reverted or something? Rito pls.

BUMP...Riot, what is going on? This should have been fixed a long time ago. When I get on to play 1 or 2 games with my friends, this is the stuff that reminds me why I stopped playing this game altogether. FIX THESE SMALL THINGS. What is it like 30 minutes of work for someone or less?
