Client (new and old) freeze during champ select

After grinding all day in SoloQ I finally manage to get 100 LP in silver 3. I get into champ select for the first game of my promos and the enemy team is banning a champion and the timer runs down to 0 and stays there. The champ select doesn't dodge us out? I wait longer and longer and still, the ban is stuck at 0. After about 5 minutes the queue finally jumps out and it says "You have failed to lock in a pick or ban" wtf? I look and I'm already 0-1 in my promos. I have a 5 minute wait time because of the bugged client. After the wait time I figure it was just a one time thing so I go back in to Queue and I get into champ select. We get past the ban phase and one of my teammates is about to lock in their champion. I was like "Thank god" and then their pick dropped down to 0 seconds. No dodge. After about 5 minutes I was kicked out of queue and it said "You have failed to lock in a pick or ban" and there we go. I had lost my promos. I dropped to 73 LP and got a 30 minute leverbuster for doing absolutely nothing wrong while losing me my promos that I worked hard for. I played normal games after that because I was pissed off and every champ select it froze and I was dodged out. League is completely unplayable right now. It started on new client and I tried on legacy client and the same exact thing is happening regardless of client. So irritated right now. Please help before I throw my computer at a damn wall.

Having the same problem, all I have to say about the current 'new' client is that it causes more problems than doing things right (no warning if you're about to lose LP, champ select stuck, not loading post game screen, not even updated for the champion skins sale). Seems riot jumped the gun b4 removing some essential flaws.
