I purchased one of those masterchests with snowdown points, and i went to open it while Qued for a game. The game started and it never opened, when i left the game, i went to open it and now i need a hextech key to use the chest.
Sukishoo1 votesYes, Masterwork chests require keys. They are not like capsules or orbs that have been in other events.
Reformed Megaman1 votesno, when you buy them from the event you can open it right away
Kalie Anne1 votesI had to use a key to open mine.
Reformed Megaman1 voteswhen i bought mine, i had the option to "Open" right away. I opened it as the game Que went off. Ive purchased chests before and ive never had to use hextech key to open. But either way, the option to open it was there for me

If you already had a key, then you don't need to purchase one. It just uses one that you already have.

Yeah no. You must have had a key or it was glitched. I just bought one to see and it still requires a key :)
