Why its not free to transfer account from NA to Japan, not as the description on the Japanese LOL officcial website?? http://jp.leagueoflegends.com/ja/account_transfer
sao Kim1 votesJapanese server is region locked. You need to live in Japan to be able to play there. I guess that's why it's not free for you to transfer there.
Liveforacgn1 votesI speak Japanese, and the RIOT Japan said its free to transfer but currently not. so damn strange
Bolife1 votesbut it said its free tho.
kimimaro351 votesHi, I am in the same situation, I am currently living in Japan, and 3 friends (all west eu) succeeded into transfering to the japanese server for free. But me I Can't, obviously I don't know why. But it seems to be an account problem (I tried with an other computer). Please keep me aware if you find something new.
FlashTofu1 votesSame as mine. I like to transfer. it still cost 2600RP today, March 1st.
Liveforacgn1 votesanyone can answer the question?

tryndamnere1 votesHello Ive just received an answer from riot support.
In order to receive a free transfer, you must have played a majority of your games from a Japanese IP address between January 1, 2015 and February 22, 2016.
