Client Issues (freezes in champ select, lolclient.exe crashes)

I can't tell you how many lobbies I have been forced to dodge from, including ranked because of the buggy client. I have tried on both windows 7 and windows 8.1.

This issue is not exclusive to champion select but the worst there. When I enter champ select for a minute or so I can scroll through champions and then suddenly my client will freeze but I can still hear the music and click on things. Sometimes I hear champion emotes and I can pick someone (good luck choosing runes/masteries). Eventually it will get to the point where the music stops and I wait in a frozen champ select screen for the timer (which I can't see) to run out. When the game goes to transition to the loading screen, my game crashes. EVERY time. Lolclient.exe has crashed. Sweet...
