I cant update the game for this new client, the patching starts with 'verifying' and the bar gets about the quarter of the way when i receive this message. Please help i cant play the game now.
I am having this issue too.
I got a response from Riot Support, but in my case I followed all the instructions and it is still broken. When I did the clean reinstall with the recommended programs, the game reinstalled with the old client. Okay, weird, but it's working. However, voice chat was not working for some reason. Okay, weird, but it might just be a temporary bug.
When I restarted it, though? It was suddenly the new client again and got stuck in exactly the same place. Not sure what to do :(
