Vi Vault Break Bug

So I was recent;y playing Vi jungle during ranked and about half way through the match, My Q (Vault Breaker) was not responding. I couldn't use the ability. We were already going to lose the match, but this was pretty game breaking for me. I'm not sure if this is a common bug, but I was heavily CC'd by the enemy team during my Vault Break and then died. After that I was unable to use my Q the remainder of the match. Any fixes? Any Thoughts?

It's a bug that has been around for way too long now. I suspect that it happens when you're charging the Q and die before using it (not confirmed). There is a workaround but just like the bug here Riot don't seem to care so the only way you find it is by accident or if someone tells you. Use the self-cast + Q, default ALT+Q and it'll work again.
