Friend's Name Glitched?

Hey everyone. My friend's name on league is ísack with the spanish I. For some reason his name is glitched on my client and it shows his name in a japanese.. or korean letter. So it just shows as ck for me. I can't trade champions with him in aram and i can't view his profile. I can message him but that's only it. If there's a way you guys can fix it that would be greatly appreciated. All my other friends don't have the issue with his name, only me.

Did he transfer or have that name from a long time ago? Currently you are unable to use special characters in your summoner name on NA, which is why some errors crop up in the cases where it's there. I suggest asking him to change it, which could probably be done for free if he requests it through a ticket. I'm unsure why only you would have a client issue with it though (could be entirely unrelated to what I just said).
