Can't Even Open the Client (Windows)

When I try to open the game I get a "League of Legends" logo with a loading bar underneath of it. If I watch the processes on my computer when I open it; it starts really well and downloads like 20 mb a second for almost no time at all and then quickly dwindles to nothing. Eventually the launcher stops doing literally anything at all. Meanwhile the loading icon on my desktop has yet to move at all showing me that it hasn't actually made any progress. The launcher won't even open. I can't even try to login to anything or do anything with the client because this is where it stops. I've been trying to get this to work since 8am EST. Literally...just...what the fuck.

In most cases the firewall blocks the launcher or its update mechanism. Disable your personal and windows firewalls (temporarily) first and try again to start LoL.

I've restarted the client a couple of times and restarted my computer just as many times. Still nothing. I really don't understand. I may try uninstalling League and starting over from scratch.

Im also running on windows but everytime i login to my account my whole pc just freezes forcing me to turn it off

This is my first day off in 3 weeks and I just wanted to play some league. I think I'm going to go throw my computer through a wall.
