League of Legends doesn't allow me to connect to games

Recently (in my last 10-12 matches) I've had trouble playing league. When I get into loading screen, the game immediately bugsplats and says that there was an error in the files, then proceeds to re-download every portrait and character model file for league of legends. It's happened so much that I've had low priority que twice. I've tried reinstalling and checking for corrupted files, but no shot. The game needs to fixed.
