I'm disappointed Thresh didn't take it...

I heard the Lee Q is coded so that when he reactivates it, for a split he teleport to a random spot on the map, I read that a while ago and that's what some people believed was causing bugs like this. Can anyone confirm or deny this out my curiosity? Also hasn't this been happening for a few seasons?
If I had done that I would have went on it 100% even if I knew I was going to die How often do you get to slide across the map as Thresh?
Many of us said the hitbox was broken, but did they believe us? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! "The hitbox is fine" they said, "you just need to git gud and doge" they exclaimed.

I think thresh hook currently looks for the closest champion model regardless if that was the intended target. This seems sketchy though.

It's not just a random bug and it's not new either(if you look in that thread there's several links to other videos of this happening even as far back as season 2-3. In fact it can happen to any champion that has a dash due to how League handles dashes while already on top of your target.

This is actually a bug that isn't specific to Thresh. I have seen it happen with Amumu and Blitz before. but, this happens extremely rarely
