"Unable to earn loot or gain rewards due to leaving or afk like behaviors"

I didn't connect to my last game. So, I exited and came back. Unfortunately, we lost; typical. However, at the end of the game I received a 2 system notifications. The one in the title, and "hang on while we perform server maintenance."

This is ridiculous! There have been server issues lately, something Riot knows about and "fixed" just the other day. I didn't leave, and I wasn't afk. I DIDN'T CONNECT!

There needs to be a system in place that distinguishes the difference between not connecting/server issues, and leaving/afk.
