Syndra Ult Bug

Just played a game as syndra mid (2nd game as syndra ever).. Teamfight broke out at drag, I dropped 2 orbs with Q, Ulted Kat, Kat died before ult landed, ult stays off CD so that I can use it again, but I still gained the orbs from the ult as if it had landed, proceed to ult the ADC, get 2 ults worth of orbs.
