I was in a ranked game when this happened, anytime i reconnect i just disconnect. I tried to join at the send to see if the game it self is the problem or the entire thing i bugged. As it turned out the entire thing is bugged. This also happens in ARAM and custom games. I understand that when u use a BETA you should expect these things, but the reason BETA exists is so that things like this don't happen when Windows 10 releases.
I really don't understand Riot in this thing. They knew there was this problem, as players on the test servers already told them. (At least I read so) They pushed this out despite that.
It's not that few people already using Windows 10.
LoL worked PERFECTLY FINE in 5.4. ALL other games work perfectly fine on Win 10. ONLY patch 5.5 ruined it.
Win 10 will be a free upgrade for every Win 7 and 8 user. Therefore over 90% will update. They have the chance to solve this issue NOW, before the normal retail Win 10 comes out.
Yes Win 10 is at the moment a beta, but that's not a reason to rush out a patch they knew, would ruin it for a lot of users. And on top of that, there even wasn't any warning or other things. I got a stupid message I had to "I agree" on, just because Riot ruined it with 5.5.

Idk why you are trying to run League on an experimental OS.
I wouldn't try to do anything serious on an OS is the stage windows 10 is in. Taking it is like bug testing for them and that may be heavily related.
I realize I'm just repeating what so many have already said, but RIOT really should have been testing it on the new os considering the launch of the new os is not far away. Now I do understand that Windows 10 is still in beta but the stability of the os (which is pretty stable right now) shouldn't be an excuse. Finally i don appreciate riot throwing us under the bus on this one. You are a company start acting like one.
Also I am unable to submit a support ticket do to a bug in the system.

ugh just when I was starting to enjoy windows 10
they will care about this because the most pc user are windows users and i think many people are using windows 10 technical preview like me. They need to fix this soon i just bought some new characters and want to try them, or i just go to dota 2 for a while and maybe i stay there.
Windows 10 have DX12 (DirectX12) installed. Maybe riot optimalized this patch to DX11 that's why the game crashed. If u install windows 8 without updates game should work fine :)

I know crashes, losses and other issues sometimes happen for reasons beyond your control, but we’re not able to change the outcome of these games. We can’t alter the database once a game is complete and recorded in it. This means we can’t change a Leave or a Loss, nor can we manually adjust any League Points gained or lost from the game.
The “Loss Prevented” that sometimes appears in match history is only applied during server-wide instability or lag. We can’t apply Loss Prevented to individual matches. Right now, the least thing I can do is to help you lessen the chances of this issue from happening again.

[What this tell me]
I am upset at riot.. I had spend just about 5 months on windows 10 coming up with fixing for bluetooth issues and thigns to do with windows 10 and its issues, but this is the only fix that i have reported to Microsoft and been told to kick rocks.. Microsoft cant fix the issues they told me themselves. i spent 6 hours getting windows 8 on my laptop, i gave up the preview.. but for any person who said to me " why are you using leauge on a new OS"... YOU m y friends will thank us later when you get to play it with no bugs.. and if there IS bugs when it comes out, down blame us, we tried, i got banned to try fixing the windows 10, and i just want everyone to know that windows 10 preview isnt for fun. not for all of us anyways, some of us care, and wanted to get a head start! I personally have helped solve a few issues myself, and im sure others can relate.. but nope, just ban me, and bring us all down for the favor you will be thanking us for later
When the full release of Windows 10 drops, there is going to be a mass exodus of users to the new OS. Since it is free for so many users, a LOT of people are going to upgrade to Windows 10 almost immediately. That being said, its hard to say how close the beta/preview versions that people are testing now will be to the actual release build. It could be something that microsoft can fix themselves. I havent used it myself, but from experience with windows 7/8, I would try running the game in compatibility mode.
How bug is it
For some reason, I can't even get to the game. I launch it, patcher runs normally, then when I start it the login screen works. But just when everything's all fine and dandy, I log in and it crashes immediately.
They said sound looks like it's the problem here, I'm not entirely sure if it is. Better keep waiting for a Red reply
