Here's what I got from League Support asking if at the very least they could remove my leaves for the games that this bug caused:
Hello gary,
I'm sorry to hear about your game crash. I understand you're quite worried about this especially that it already caused you three leaves on your match history. While I wish I could remove those leaves from your record, I'm sorry as I'm unable to do so. I know crashes, losses and other issues sometimes happen for reasons beyond your control, but we’re not able to change the outcome of these games. We can’t alter the database once a game is complete and recorded in it. This means we can’t change a Leave or a Loss, nor can we manually adjust any League Points gained or lost from the game.
The “Loss Prevented” that sometimes appears in match history is only applied during server-wide instability or lag. We can’t apply Loss Prevented to individual matches. Right now, the least thing I can do is to help you lessen the chances of this issue from happening again.
Actually, crashes often occur due to computer hardware or graphical settings in League of Legends, but there are many other potential reasons this could occur. The following article contains the most common fixes for these issues:

Also, we're aware of issues concerning the Windows 10 Technical Preview; since you're running this operating system, please note that this is an early build which may not be stable or have full compatibility with League of Legends. I recommend using a currently-supported operating system when running the game.
If the issue persists, please don't hesitate to contact me again and I would be happy to investigate your issue further. In order to provide you with the quickest solution, I will need a few pieces of information:
[What this tell me]
- League doesn't have 1 person in PBE using windows 10.
- Leaves are totally my fault for using windows 10 (even though 100% of all my games except for league 5.5 work just fine in windows 10).
- There will be no fix anytime soon.
- It might be time to reinstall Smite, a game that actually works on Windows 10.
