game crashed, can't get back in

So I was ADCing with Kog, 6 mins in the game, my game crashes. I restart league, now normally when you relog onto your account and you're still in a game, it prompts you to get back in your game otherwise you can't do anything else til that game is over. Well..... I logged back on and it wouldn't let me get back in my game. The game was gone, disappeared! I was only out for 30 seconds. There wasn't enough time for my team to surrender because it was under 15 mins still. And the system allowed me to remake and get into a new game.. while i was still in the other game. Makes no sense, anyone having this issue?
