Morgana shield versus Thresh

Over the last two days I have twice now played with a Morgana versus a Thresh. In both games, we would have a player with Morgana's Spell Shield being hooked by Thresh. Thresh is able to reactivate his q so that he pulls them to him. As far as I know, Morgana's sheild is supposed to block all spells. It even blocks Blitzcrank's arm, so why is Thresh is able to hook someone, with the shield on when the hook touches?

Morgana's shield will only block CC (and magic damage), but it doesn't outright block entire spells like Sivir's/Nocturne's spell shields. So, if a Thresh hook lands on a target that has Morgana's shield, the shield will prevent them from being stunned, but the hook will still be attached to them, which means that Thresh will still be able to fly towards them.

The shield blocks CC until it breaks. it does not block any spells

thresh jumps to them, not the other way around, and from the sound of it it sounds like you used it after they were hooked the first time , once thresh lands his hook he pulls twice then he can jump to them. if you dont block the first hook (pull then the rest of the ability resolves thus not a bug

If morgana uses her shield on someone and then thresh lands his hook he can't pull twice (the champion hooked can still walking away) but thresh can "fly" to the champion hooked. @MyTwoCents

From Wiki:

ACTIVE: Morgana shields the target friendly champion or herself for up to 5 seconds, absorbing magic damage and rendering her target immune to all crowd control while the shield holds.

From the in-game description:

Shields an allied Champion for 5 seconds. The shields_** absorbs xxx magic damage_ and _prevents disables**_ until it breaks.

It makes sense that this might be confusing, but after reading it thoroughly it actually is pretty obvious that the shield indeed is supposed to only prevent magic damage and cc, and not any other effects, like a Thresh being able to pull himself towards you.
