loading screen gets stuck for about 5 mins then starts loading in. when im finally able to load in. i only have 2 to 3 fps. whats going on. i was playing the game fine yesterday before the update. 48 to 49 ping and 150 fps. tried uninstalling league and reinstalling it. tried repatching and its the same thing. I cant even play league with the way its acting someone please help
I just got leaver-buster for 10 games because of this bug that doesn't let me join the game. I just got punished for something I didn't do, or at least didn't have any control over. What kind of bullshit is that? I'm not the only one having this issue. I'm not the only one getting punished for nothing. However, this is the only game I know of that punishes its players for the publisher's mistakes. How come the most played video game in the world doesn't give a single shit about its player base? You have money for LCS and Worlds and every other event but you can't repair a single bug that stops the average player from enjoying their experience. You don't care about us, we're just at the bottom of the hole and we're not worth the effort and the resources, you only care about pro-play because, that brings you money. Sigh, I'm not even angry because of the 3 million hours of bonus wait time before every match. I'm just sorry for those 3 years of my life or something that I've wasted. Also you can block my account for talking shit, or disconnecting from games, because I don't even care. All I got to do is jack off and kill myself. Peace.
After the Akali patch today I am now having the same issue.
Loading screen going into a game is black for a long time then finally loads after 5+minutes. Once in the game i only have 2-3 fps.
Never had any issue like this before. Played yesterday no issues.
I tried reinstalling. No luck.

At this point we are just waiting on Riot to figure it out. You can try disabling/uninstalling any 3rd party software that might interact with league but...a lot of us havn't had any success with this so I wouldn't hold your breath.
Best bet is to keep bugging riot post in every thread etc so it keeps getting recognition and maybe they will actually fix it. Or you could always reinstall windows =). I'm starting to think that the people who put this patch out believe that is actually an acceptable solution.

Yep same problem, it takes forever for the game to load. then when it does load i have 02 fps and i physically cannot do anything. the only way i can play league is running it on another computer. I have even tried taking files from one computer and putting them onto the one that doesn't work however im forced to reinstall the launcher which still doesn't fix the problem. I have been in contact with league support and been told its a new issue however it seems people have had this issue for ages.

I'm having the same problem. Some live chat guy told me its because they did a security update and for some odd reason if your mobo bios is up to a certain date you can't get past load screen. Sounds like bs and just another pad patch update. Its the same problem when they had the AMD processor patch problem. Just wait a few days and i'm sure riot with fix this patch again.

I have had same issue since akali patch literally sit at 0 forever and then it loads up and I get into game at 1:10 every single game since patch

Guys, I posted a ticket on the Riot support team and this did the job!
Open up Windows Defender Security Center Go to Device Security > Core Isolation Details Turn off the Memory Integrity Setting Disable it, restart your computer, and test out a custom game after

They did a graphic update. So all of us who don't have 2000 dollar computers got the shit end of the stick. The only way this problem will be fixed will be if they fix whatever is taking so long to load.

Been getting help from a riot member since I sent in a ticket 3 days ago, both of us are stumped and seem to have hit a dead end. Recently computer had been stuck in loading screen with the 0 ping on the bottom right corner, no solution yet

I had the same problem (running on Windows 10, started after Akali patch, low-mid end PC) and this solved it for me.
*Note: Since I knew I had set my League to only communicate through Private networks, I only checked all the Private boxes. If you're not sure on what you set it as, just check both Private and Public.

Do we seriously not have a fix to this issue yet? wtf. I can't even finish my last few games to try to get to gold before the end of the season. Also I got absolutely no reply from Riot after sending in a support ticket.
It started one or two days ago for me and it happened in 4 out of 6 matches. The thing is that i got reconnected at about the 8th minute when I just waited and I got back at 1:30 if I closed the game as soon as it opened and hit the Reconnect button in the client.
i thought reinstalling windows would help. but it did nothing at all. i only have league of legends on my computer nothing else and its still doing the same thing. sooo the whole talk about 3rd party programs is b.s...... i have nothing else on my computer now but league so why can i not play league.
