[CLIENT] Mac OSX Loading and Champion Select

I am experiencing multiple problems with my client. One occasional problem is that the game invite does not appear until the timer has expired. If I am able to connect to a game, the client freezes during the banning stage and I am unable to select a champion or view other selections resulting in a dodge and following penalties.

Here are my specs:

Mac OS X Mountain Lion Processor 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Intel HD Graphics 4000 768MB

I also have a download speed of approximately 15Mbps and upload of 1Mbps. I have attempted restarting and also reinstalling League of Legends.
