[CRASH] Black screen on game load

I can join the new que fine and pick my champion and spells. When the game counts down to start where you usually get the loading splash screen with all the champs art before going on to the rift, I just get a full black screen where all I can see is my mouse and it lasts until I close the game. I have the standard option to reconnect, but it just gives me the same black screen. This happens every time I try to que now from earlier today, all I have to do is try to join a game. I tried closing and reopening and then un- and re-installing the client and it happens each time.
