Ezreal Essence Flux doesn't seem to be giving effect when E-ing to it anymore

Just played a full game with ez after the new patch, and it seems this recently added (awesome) ability stopped to work after the patch, i do W -> E like i used to activate it, saw it hitting ez and all, because it gives the passive a charge, but Essesnce's flux ability of more att speed doesn't appear in the buff sections.
