[GAMEPLAY] Mikael's Crucible's active won't activate

As mentioned in the title, the active ability of of the item Mikael's Crucible (cleansing CC off of an allied champion) doesn't work for me. I've tried swapping item slots to try a different number and even manually click it, but it won't even show so much as a sign that it has an active to even use (the cursor doesn't even change nor do I see its range when I mouse over it). It has happened for 2 games in and it literally renders the point of buying it useless since the active is an important aspect of it. I didn't do anything special to produce this issue, merely played Janna on summmoner's rift (ranked solo queue, with her default skin), bought the item and its active doesn't work from the get-go.

Now I am paranoid of purchasing as a support, worried it'll keep happening.
