I never had this problem before the 9.22 patch, now i cant open the client. I have reinstalled updated and everything but it just doesn't open, anyone else having this problem? ( ironically I can't report a bug because the client won't open )

I am having the same issue, after logging in the client freeze and i get a black screen. i reinstalled the game 2 times after deleting all the related files and still same issue, i noticed that multiple instances of league were open at once, and i cant even send a ticket because the league website is transfering me to riot games website and its not allowing me to log in. i need help to fix this please.

Just happened to me. I've tried reinstalling, running as administrator, end all processes in task manager, and more. None of it works. Patch 9.24b. I guess I'm not playing this game anymore.
i fixed this and it came back over and over and over the problem persists

I thought my pc was acting up thank god I wasn't the only one. Can Riot just bring back the legacy client instead of this useless extra stuff in the client to make it look cool, its not working so far.

HI,
I had the same issue too. Repeatedly clicking the "League" icon. Now my client works. There are two things you can do to fix this issue.
One: right click LoL icon and select the "run as administer" option Two: enter computer's task manager>processes and delete/end all "riot" and "league" processes.
Riot hasn't had the chance to fix this issue or patch it, but this should allow you to run the client.
