Losing LP in Promos?

Hey guys!

Recently, I've experienced a rather strange bug/error in LoL.

Normally, when you enter your promotional series, you start with a 100lp.

When you lose your series, you lose an 'x' amount of lp from 100.

However, I lost lp for losing one game in my series, thus I continued my series with roughly ~87 lp? (Is this even possible?)

Is this a known bug/error? How come I'm losing lp during my series? After I lost my series, I ended up with ~60 lp... normally, I should have ~80 lp...

Can someone tell me what's going on D:?

You lose 1 match worth of LP for each match in the series you lose, and gain LP back for each match you win but lose the series. If you win one of your matches, you'll come out with more LP, and if you lose both (no wins) you'll come out with less.

Quite often you'll win 1 and lose 2, so you come out with ~80. Sometimes you lose 2 in a row and no wins so you come out with less than that.
