Possible Varus bug

I've only ever noticed on Heartseeker Varus, but to me it seems like the Q hits visually but not registered on the edge of the Q range. I've had it visually hit multiple times to only do no damage to the champion it appears to hit. First time it happened I thought I just misjudged my Q, but I've had it do that multiple times since and not a single time when I've used Arctic Ops Varus so just wondering if the range indicator is off or maybe some issue with that particular skin....
