Maybe its just my imagination but as I was practicing Fiora today, while activating her ultimate on a near death champ, malphite ult in for the kill but the healing circle never activated.
This keeps happening to me to. I'm like, YES. Then I get blown up because the heal didn't activate like it was supposed to do.
That may be your imagination, did you at least proc one of your passives on the ult before Malphite killed the champ? The ult specifies that the victory zone appears on kill if you at least proced 1 Vital before the target dies.
