Mac microphone not recognized and league client not opening Mojave

When I updated to Mojave, my microphone for voice chat stopped working. Anyone know when Riot will come out with a fix? I loved dark mode but it's not worth not being able to talk.

SECONDLY, I thought maybe updating to 10.14.2 wouldn't cause any more problems to league, so I decided to get the newest download after much persistence on the apple software update notifications and I RAN INTO ANOTHER PROBLEM. Now instead of just the microphone not working, whenever I join a game, I'm good up until champ select, then after that no window opens for the actual game itself. So I don't see the loading screen or anything. The main league launcher just shows "game in progress" and then if I close and reopen it just asks me to reconnect and then nothing opens, just says "game in progress". Annoying loop. I ended up going back to High Sierra until Riot can get their Mac OS compatible. How annoying!
