I CANT PLAY ON LIVE SERVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive been playing LoL for 2 years and never came to this problem. i could not open either live or pbe server so i uninstall both and reinstall but the problem comes when i try to download the live server it downloads fine but, when i get past patch it says its pbei dont understand why i cant download live server and it makes me sad please help
