Client black screen after "Match Found"

Have just attempted to play two ranked matches in a row that have both resulted in a black screen as soon as I click to get into the pregame champ selection after the "Match Found!" window pops up. As soon as I click to enter the champ selection, the client just goes black. I can hear the sound effects for the bans and then the countdown for picking my champ, but I can not do anything. I've attempted minimizing and maximizing the window, alt tabbing, opening up Task Manager and nothing works. It has resulted in two dodges and losses of LP, all due to a broken client -_-.
