Incorrect penalty and hidden automatic declining.

The client is malfunctioning. Once in about 30 games, I enter the queue and the screen goes blank. This time deserves a trip to the forums.

This last time, I force killed the client after it went blank (no home screen, timer, or lobby). I restarted it and try entering the queue again. I got two messages saying that I declined the AFK check in timer dialog. The third time, I got a short ban saying Dodge Timer. I didn't dodge. I always check in when I see the timer. None of these events are true. No dialogue showed.

The queue dodge timer goes away (5 min). 4th attempt to join the queue: I get the message about declining too many games. 5th attempt I get the Queue dodge timer: 10 minutes this time.

Dodge ban timer goes down. "You have declined too many games in a row and are temporarily unable to join queues." I just played about 5 games in a row. What's the deal?

Well in your situation I would stop queueing until i understand what the cause of the problem is and how to fix it. Continuing to queue when you know you are experiencing an issue that may cause you to get unexpected dodges or declined matches doesn't make you less deserving of the penalty associated with these things.

What you should try first is download the hextech repair tool, and do a file check/repair. It also has other functionality that may help you resolve this issue.

Today, I have the problem again. Here's what happened: After 5-10 games with no problems, I returned to the queue, but this time, the screen did not display correctly. The lobby/wait screen is blank. I closed the client. I reopen and enter the queue again. I'm waiting for the ready check and then I get a notification in the top right corner saying that I missed the ready check. I tried queuing again and I get the notification again. I don't want a dodge ban timer again, so I will wait a few min to enqueue again.

Further information, latest occurrence: This time, the blank screen didn't happen. I entered the queue. The clock counted up about 30 sec and then paused. This is obviously when the ready check should be showing.
