Syndra W Not Firing [GAMEPLAY]

I've noticed that sometimes while playing Syndra, that Force of Will will pick up an orb or minion, but either upon pick-up or firing, Force of Will simply goes on cooldown without tossing the held object. I'll proceed to drag around the object until the 5 second hold time is up, at which point it simply releases whatever I'm holding. During this time, I have no means of throwing the object and as you'd expect, Force of Will can't be activated until the cooldown finishes. Within the last few days, this has happened at least three times that I've noticed. I'm not sure exactly how to reproduce, as it seems to occur randomly.
