Chat server down(?)

I was talking with a friend, when suddenly my client started reconnecting to the chat service. After 2 minutes of connecting I restarted my client, when I started it up the same issue happened. I decided to play a game to wait it out, when I finished it it was still connecting. I waited another 30 minutes and it's still going.

If the servers are really down, please give us a notification.[slayer-jinx-catface]
