Announcement here http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/features/team-and-earn-party-rewards makes it clear that the rewards are meant to be multipliers, however in a game I just played we all got a flat amount of 2 bonus IP (rather than the 2x I assume it was supposed to be).

the rare, massive IP prizes being referred to are the multipliers listed on the "MAX jackpot" graph. your tier of possible prizes ranks up as you get in bigger groups, giving you better chances to get bigger bonuses, and a bigger bonus multiplier for your "rare, massive IP prize" if you get lucky enough to get it.
I understand why you interpenetrated it the way you did, they should have been more clear in their wording.
Can confirm matches are giving flat IP instead of multipliers.
"There is a chance your group earns no Party Reward"
plus if it was 2 people it's up to 4x not 2x...and it's only a chance to gain the extra.
At least you got something...we got nothing.
It's on a "Chance" To get x2,x4,x6 and x12 IP or whatever. OTher than that, it's still only a chance to get ANY bonus ip. The chances are VERY low, so don't expect much.
Okay, but why make an announcement for a bonus to games that gives you 2-3 bonus IP? That much IP means almost nothing when champs and runes cost thousands.
