[Client] Disabled play button on alpha client

This bug started happening for me today and I honestly can't figure out what triggers it, but it seems after a random amount of time, the play button will just turn gray and be completely disabled. Sometimes it's immediately after a game, sometimes I can do 2-3 before it happens. Nothing I do seems to affect it and make it turn, and nothing I do seems to make it function like normal again, my only option is to relog. Doing a full client repair hasn't fixed the issue either.

This happens to me a lot also. Not really sure what to do about it but restart.

the same thing is happening to me.. nothing has helped except just waiting,. not even restarting the client

Same here. Happened to a friend too. I reported it in a ticket thinking it was a permanent thing but literally 5 minutes later the issue resolved itself and I was able to play again. I ended up closing the ticket and saying the issue resolved itself but looks like I shouldn't have done that because now it is happening again. Sad.

I and a friend have been having the same issue. Is Riot looking at this? Because it is a major pain to have wait 10 min for a game. Or reset your client over and over until it works.

This happens to me just recently too. The Play button completely trolls me all the time. I don't know when or how or why it does it. But, all I know is that it is trolling. item 3070 Trundle

started yesterday for me...

sometimes relogging fixes it. i also used the in-game report feature to report this

I sent a Support ticket in on it asking them to please check and read this forum and look into the bug atleast as for them responding to the ticket is highly unlikely that they did look into i wont be sure about.. But for 2 days it has done the same with me i reloaded reset repaired client nothing worked so using the Legacy client NOT Alpha client is fine and works just as well till they can solve this issue Warwick summoner 4 summoner 11 item 3153

Hey guys thought i post an update this does fix it not sure on a time frame of bug fix but this is what Riot Support Bot << yes automated reply sent me in my email... they said to use this tool.... https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/224826367-Automated-Troubleshooting-Hextech-Repair-Tool it did fix the issues as far as i can tell no other troubles try it for yourself if you dont believe me Warwick summoner 11 item 3153
