[GAMEPLAY] Spells fail to cast directly after a move command

I right click, then immediately hit Q (or any spell), the indicator either flashes on the screen or doesn't come up at all depending on the timing, and it is as if I haven't pressed the button at all.

Its as if the move command cancels the spellcast, despite the move command being input very obviously before the spell command.

Its affects gameplay the most in ganks and teamfights, so it is very frustrating.

Other info:

  • I do not smartcast
  • Tested with near 100% reproduction rate
  • Only started happening since 5.7 - noticed it immediately (edited)

Posted about this a few days ago http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/phqZvETr-stuttering-and-movement-breaking-with-standard-casted-abilities

I have a raw 60FPS video of it to observe it as well.

I'm experiencing this as well.

From what I've seen all riot has said is they're looking into it and unable to reproduce on live. But I can hop in a game any second queue up a normal cast or smartcast with range indicator on while holding right click and cancel it by letting go of right click, instead of the initial press of right click canceling it.

This completely messes with how I play and makes spells I need to cast in clutch situations fail. I have not played another game since the first one after this patch.

Something from riot about this would be really nice.
