RIOT, Please....fix your store.
Rito, your store is awful. It has been for years and we all put up with it, sessions expired, impossible to use when patches release. Impossible to use during popular sales.
I tried for 3 days to get the store to process an RP payment to no avail, today it works fine for weeks before it works fine, it is really annoying having to use something so unreliable, it's almost as bad as a teenage employee, one day they work the next, they don't, and you never know when it's just going to out right break. You have without a doubt one of the most unreliable in game transaction processes I have ever encountered.
So here are some things to consider.
-
Remove the store from the client - it only works about 1 in 3 times you attempt to access it on any given day. This would lighten your patch data and who knows what other improvements as I do not know how it's coded in, I can only speculate.
-
Give us an out of game online store - In many of the other games I play I can purchase points or items from my phone, my browser, just about anywhere, why do we need to be in the client to gift people things? It's 2014 I should have access to online services any time I am online not just in your client.

I know you are instantly going, well we have runes and other things that seem to make a lot more sense to purchase in game it's not just money scrub.... Yes I realize that but with the rune revamp seeming to be a priority now I think it is the perfect time to solve these issues once and for all. Why would you guys perpetuate a system that has a 25-40% failure rate? When snow down released it took me 2 days to get RP to unlock a few skins, I missed the Rengar sale entirely as every time I sat down to get a little RP it was session expired. This has been the case for far to long, yes we all DEAL with it and "often" it is not an issue, but I think you guys can and should do better.
Simply giving us an out of game purchasing option would also solve these issues but I think it would be a lot better to just scrap the current system and move onto something more modern and functionally practical.
