At least 5 players afk in 1 game for 3 games in a role, what is going on?

Just went through 3 games where at least half of the players are afk and had to remake every game. I don't think this is suppose to happen where so many players are afk. What is going on? Someone send help pls and explain Oh yeah I asked the other players that were not afk and they experience the same thing

I believe there is a server issue. I have been having people d/c constantly in my matches. They just never connect after the champion select.

It's probably folks disconnecting; there are a LOT of reports of server issues at the moment.
