League CRASHES right as all champs are locked in and I cant trade thresh to my friend

This is horrible, I got thresh with all adc runes and my friend gets my lucian because league client decides to crash. This is an issue that doesn't stop recurring for me and I can't stand this, Im in my promos to gold and this is just not ok.

Edit: My friends dont deserve to lose a game because of something on my end. Also riots ability to not be able to fix bugs like this that have been happening for months now is really bad.
