Random stutter in audio and video whenever i click on and off league of legends client

For some reason when ever i click on or off the league of legends client in the recent patches it freezes up everything else for a split second, it can become quite annoying as in discord all my friends voices lag. this happens in the game and in the launcher and it seems only league of legends has this effect

Ive tried uninstall and reinstall league but still happens. its not unplayable but its a little frustrating as i like tabbing in and out when im dead during games. if anyone has any ideas what to do i'd love some help thank you :3
