Weird hitboxes/Spell interactions

So with the update to Summoners rift there's been a lot of weird hitbox issues/interactions with champion spells. After the most recent patch however, I've been noticing it a lot more than normal. Nidalee spears are literally passing through Yasuo's windwall, Thresh hooks are practically going through champions rather than hooking them, and people are able to just walk through Anivia's wall, etc. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence that it's happening more frequently now, or if it actually has something to do with the release of 5.12.
