"/Remake" not working (Ranked games)

Hey guys... So just finished my homework and decided to play a ranked... we picked our champs but right after the loading screen garen was literally AFK. He was standing on the middle of the fountain he didnt even have the chance to buy items pots etc he was completely disconnected from the game.... 3 minutes passed and we couldnt remake it said "remake is only available when a player fails to connect to the game" or something like that but our garen didnt even play for 1 sec... he was literally afk the whole game... Anyways i would like to hear your opinion about this that happened or let me know how to "face" it cause 18 lp means a lot to my road to plat that just got destroyed by this rito problem. (P.S i have a photo that shows everything if needed to prove it)
