New anti-cheat makes game practially unplayable on 4k resolutions (since YOLOmouse app doesn't work)

As we all know, Riot released new anti-cheat client.

As i'm happy that Riot is working against hackers, though, to be fair, i never seen any, i'm extremely disappointed that this new update doesn't allow to use program called YOLO Mouse (https://pandateemo.github.io/YoloMouse/).

The reason i personally have used it, is that it makes games cursor actually usable and visible on 4k resolution. As you can see in this image (http://take.ms/XvJosW), computer on the left, having 4k resolution has an microscopic mouse, compared to the computer on the right, that's running 1080p resolution. It is totally unfair to 4k resolution using players. The mouse is so small it's easy to lose it, especially in team fights. I can't even count how many times i've lost fights, cos of the small mouse. It's easy to lose sight of it even if not fighting. And, since this update broke the only solution (mentioned YOLO mouse app), i think Riot kinda owns us an optimization for 4k resolution using players. Some sort of slider of the mouse, to make it bigger, etc.

And please, do NOT give me "solutions" to use lower resolution, like 1080p, as it makes the game look extremly pixelated and bad.. that is NOT a solution and is unhelpful.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

For me, when using a resolution higher than 1080 my entire UI is small, not just my mouse.

I used to have a decent workaround but one of the latest windows updates made it stop working.

For the love of god, Please rollout 4k support. atleast allow us to scale the UI beyond 100% for quality of life.

It's not just the 4K players this is affecting. I'm a 51 year old type 2 diabetic with eyesight problems due to the macular degeneration, and YOLO was about the only way I could play LOL. Now I try to play and I have to deal with comments from other players on how bad I suck, all because I can't see the mouse because I can't change it to a large bright green pointer. I guess Riot just wants young, healthy, LCS caliber players. Us older handicapped people are not welcome.

A year later, I still rarely bother playing Summoner's Rift because the mouse vanishes on my 4K monitor during team fights, now that they disabled YOLOMouse.

I've put League in a window and play with it as small as I can stand, but that's not good enough. I can duel just fine, but in a team fight I have to just pray I'm clicking somewhere near my target.

It's worth note that I mostly stopped spending money around that time. Not as some kind of protest per se, but because it reduced the game's value to me. Just doesn't seem worth the investment I'd been making in previous years. And I'd spent a lot. I have at least one skin for every champion (and I own every champion).

People with 4K monitors are more likely to be adults who could spend money on the game. But Riot doesn't care.
