[CRASH][CLIENT] PvP.net Patcher Kernal immedately crashes now in Win 10

As soon as I try to run LoL I'm told the Patcher Kernal has stopped working. I checked the logs and I don't think it's even got far enough to start the log, they are all older then today. I tried reinstalling, same issue. I tried restarting my computer, same issue.

So I decided to try again, deleted the old installer, downloaded the 'new one' (which proudly states it was made 9-15-2014). And it still has this issue. I tried installing to my C drive, which I don't install anything to, still does it. I see this hasn't got any response except a troll. You did check this works from a fresh install on Windows 10 didn't you?
