Chat Opaque settings not saved?

I know this seems kind of a trivial complaint, but I have to do it every single start of every single game.

I'm annoyed by the black background of the chat box. Because of that, Riot has added a little slider bar to make that annoying black box completely opaque. I appreciate this, as it makes it disappear. However, every single game it resets. It goes back to black. I have to change it again and again and again. It's become a nuisance!

Is there any way to make this setting permanent? Why does it reset every game? What am I missing?

Sorry for the ridiculous "bug" report, but a man's gotta do what a man thinks is right. Let me save my opaque settings plz.
