Before the update everything was running smoothly, but now I am able to go into champion select but once its time to load into game it will just say game crashed and I should check if the client is compatible with OS, no matter how many times I tried to reconnect it doesn't work. Also, my OS is up to date on everything so I know its not a mac issue.

I just got back on and it still doesn't work. I don't get it and the issues only started after the patch. Im running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
I have the same problem.
Im having the same issue, every time I go into champ select it appears fine. Then right as the last pick is locked in and it says "prepare for battle" or whatever, I get the spinning wheel and it just stops working. I have to force quit after every champ select and even after that I have issues. I try to open back up the launcher to reconnect into the game, and it doesn't open for about 3-5 minutes. By the time I even load in the game is already 5-7 minutes in and I pretty much have 0 chance of coming back into it. This really just started happening since I started my games for platinum promotion, so it really sucks. Hope it can get fixed.
Had the same issue, from the Application folder I deleted League completely and then reinstalled it. Worked like a charm. Takes a while to do but give it a try.

My mac keeps disconnecting from everything even from custom games I get into queue easily and picks champions fine but then get disconnected in loading screen every time please help I just want to league!!!
same issue i tried to uninstall league three times already and have downloaded it again...and nothing goes through champ select and just goes black then i have to force quit it just to see the reconnect thing....but it never reconnects just keeps going black
I reinstalled league because league would not launch. Now its trying to patch but it got stuck at 35% for the last 4 hours. And I have a mac pro and the software is up to date as well.
can't complete downloading the patch, every time at different point of downloading the KBps drops to 0 and I have to start over..
Same issue here, can't watch or play any match, the game keeps crashing every time. I hope the next update will fix it ! I've already tried to unistall and install, 3 times, veeeeeery long, and nothing.
