Crashing in champ select and getting reprimanded

Has anyone else had an issue where you are in queue or champ select and your client crashes? I've had it happen a couple times to me and my friends and it's starting to annoy me when I have to wait to queue up because a client I had no control over crashed. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
