Anyone else getting robbed of their kills?

I just got out of a game where enemies were getting "executed" when they shouldn't have been. I know there's a small window of time that needs to go through for someone to die without necessarily feeding the other team, but I think there might be a glitch going on with said time window. My adc and I did a bunch of damage to this that tower-dived us and when the tower dropped the final shot after we died, it said executed when it should've been my adc's kill. Has this happened to anyone else?
