I started a ranked game and was allready in champ selection. I then noticed that i was invited to a game and accepted the inivte. Now the lobby said everyone left the game, the counter run down with me not able to choose a champion. After like one minute i was back to general view and wanted to start a new game. There it was the dodge queue 5 minutes ban.
While the circumstances do suggest a bug, it's a well-known fact that once champ select starts any sort of disconnect is considered a dodge. The bug isn't the dodge penalty, but the fact in that you didn't completely leave the lobby yourself and had to wait for the timer to run down to get kicked out.
I consider it a bug that you can join a game if you allready are in champ sel. It should at least warn you or dont let you join the invitaion. And as you are kicked out of your current game makes it definitely a bug. I didnt leave everyone else did. At least that whats the chat says.
Might not be a bug. But it lures one into false assuptioms. And gives you penalty.
