Champion select screen not appearing, client blacked out

So this is pretty annoying. I have never, ever, posted anything on riot forums after a strong 11 years of playing. This client is garbage. I have had so many issues with it lately it is insane. The most recent is probably the most penalizing of all of the issues I have experienced. Lately, after clicking the accept match button, my client blacks out instead of going into champion select. My friend also had this issue. Both of us are climbing in ranked as a duo, and have been forced into a dodge multiple times in the passed few days just because this issue. I can hear the champion select sounds, such as timers, bans going off, etc...

At first, i believed this was just a bug when i had a profile, store, or anything else opened when waiting for the queue - but this was not the case. I just recently had this issue occur when i was sitting at the main party lobby screen. Riot please... PLEASE fix your client. It's sad that companies who have a fraction of as much revenue as you guys and their clients don't crap the bed with new bugs EVERY - SINGLE - PATCH. I'm now down a ton of LP just because of this, down a lot of time put into playing and climbing. I EVEN LOST MY PROMOS INTO GOLD BECAUSE OF THIS. You must imagine how infuriating this is, because I know the vast majority of the employees also play this game and probably experience the same nonsense I have.
